Rosie: born in Jackson Hole and raised in Omaha. Undergrad at Middlebury, VT, then back out west...then to Boston for grad school.
Patrick: born and raised in Bedford, MA, and didn't stray too far from there, heading to college at Union in Schenectady, NY, and returning to MA for grad school in Boston.
How did we meet? In grad school, we were both involved in the MIT Outing Club (though neither of us was ever an MIT student) and we were first acquainted on a ski trip in early 2007. We didn't see much of each other until 2009, when Rosie happened to check a defunct email account and saw an email from Pat, inviting her to go rock climbing at a local crag. That day we hit it off and the rest is history!
In the most recent version of our careers, Rosie is a teacher at a Montessori School in Newton, MA, and Patrick is an engineer at a medical device company in Billerica.
